What is Hero Camp?!
Hero Camp is a daily, week long, uplifting spiritual experience for children ages 4 – 11.
When and where is Hero Camp?
June 17 - June 21, 9am – 12pm at 5550 Ohio St. Yorba Linda
What do you do at Hero Camp?
Meet and learn from Scripture Heroes, participate in games, crafts and activities, learn and sing songs, create lifelong memories, make new friends and build testimonies.
What are the crafts and activities like?
Children will be divided into groups by age. Some activities and crafts in the past have included laser tag, Velcro wall, water rollers, water slingshots, bounce houses, making pillowcases, CTR key chains, bracelets and picture frames.
How does Hero Camp happen?
Hero camp cannot happen without the united effort of parents, families and volunteers. Many hours, brainstorming, planning and preparation make Hero Camp the powerful event that it is.
How do I help my child participate?
Register as soon as possible, Hero Camp capacity for this year is 110 children. Registration begins February 19.
Volunteer one day per child, no sibling childcare provided
Attend volunteer meetings on Sunday, March 24th at 7:00pm AND June 16th at 8:00pm
How much does Hero Camp cost?
$50/child. This provides a camp T-shirt, memory book, camp photo, craft supplies, visual aid and decorations for each day and activity. Photographs and a summary video will be shared afterwards. See link for last year’s video.
Can I invite my friends to participate?
This event is open to non-members and friends outside our area. Everyone who registers is subject to the same fees and requirements. This is a great missionary opportunity. Space is limited to 110 participants, don't delay registering.
How will my child share what they have learned?
On the last day, Friday, the children will have the opportunity to share a musical number they have prepared especially for you. This Is a chance for grandparents, dads, siblings, neighbors, etc. to learn about Hero Camp and watch your child shine.
